Mad Max Director Talks Furiosa Becoming a Villain: ‘Yesterdays Hero Becomes Todays Tyrant’

As George Miller brings audiences back to the Australian Wasteland with his Mad Max: Fury Road prequel, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the director has also teased Furiosa’s future, and a brand-new cut of the movie. Miller has been very vocal about his desire to return to the Wasteland again in the future, already claiming he has a Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) prequel ready to go. Additionally, Miller is also working on a Mad Max: The Wasteland movie, which will look at how the world collapses fifty years into our future – a story which was originally intended to be released as a novella – and a potential new Mad Max video game, with acclaimed game designer Hideo Kojima at the helm.
