DaBaby wants to spin the block on his former collaborator Megan Thee Stallion and bring GloRilla along for the ride. He recently opened up about manifesting a working opportunity with the female rappers.
While appearing on ‘Drink Champs’ earlier this month, DaBaby shared that it’s all love on his end, particularly for Megan Thee Stallion. The conversation came up after the podcast hosts asked him to pick between Meg or Glo. He chose both.
“Matter fact, imma do both. Shoutout to Meg and Glo. Imma do. Yeah I’m a great n***a man, I got love Megan man. Me and Meg did some dope sh*t together and it’s good to see her rise amongst the obstacles.”
Additionally, he said that he and GloRilla are overdue for a first-time collab. between Also, DaBaby later delivered a “sincere” message about why and how Megan should pop back out together.
“I think that’s the way me and Meg should pop back out,” DaBaby said, after saying he wants a song with her and GloRilla. “I feel like ain’t none of these n****s, and ain’t no disrespect, that y’all making music with can really embody that and bring different…Like you gotta come get this sh*t from Baby, like y’all know. But I say both of them.”
GloRilla is a new reveal for DaBaby. However, he and Megan have plenty of booth history, from releasing ‘Cash Sh*t,’ to ‘Nasty’ and ‘Cry Baby.’
Then came Baby’s ‘SKAT’ collaboration with Tory Lanez in 2021 — the year after the Canadian rapper allegedly fired a gun at Megan Thee Stallion after leaving a kickback at Kylie Jenner’s house. Lanez is currently in prison, serving his 10-year sentence in connection to the shooting.
After the release of ‘SKAT,’ the Houston Hottie took to X (formerly Twitter) and blasted people who support her “in private and publicly do something else.” She added that “industry me are very strange.”
support me in private and publicly do something different…these industry men are very strange. This situation ain’t no damn “beef” and I really wish people would stop down playing it like it’s some internet shit for likes and retweets.

Despite not naming him in the post, DaBaby responded to Megan’s post. He alleged that she let “folks get the best” of her. Furthermore, he said he had no “bad energy” for Meg, and she shouldn’t let the internet make her think otherwise. But Thee Stallion had more to say, accusing her rap peer of privately telling her that working with Tory Lanez wouldn’t have been “no good business move.”
My stance hasn’t changed at all YOURS has. We already spoke abt this in private and you specifically said “that ain’t even no good business move why would I promote that shit” but now this ain’t your “beef” ? That ain’t real. But you stay on ya “business” my g https://t.co/WeKAVD0xnu

A month later, DaBaby brought Tory Lanez on stage during his Rolling Loud set. Tory later caught heat in court for appearing on that stage right after Meg had just performed, despite a protective order being in place against him. The following year, Baby seemed to shade Thee Stallion in the song, ‘BOOGEYMAN.’
Despite this history, this isn’t the first time DaBaby has revealed his desire to work with Megan Thee Stallion again. In April 2023, he said he would “absolutely” collaborate with the ‘Body’ rapper again and claimed they were “cooler than a fan.”
Meanwhile, Meg has yet to confirm whether DaBaby will ever get another chance to hop in the studio with her. And, GloRilla has also kept her reaction to his manifestation offline.
