You are real!” An early festival teaser has debuted for an indie horror film premiering this month at the 2024 Austin Film Festival, playing in their Dark Matters Features section. The film is called The Fetch, marking the feature directorial debut of indie genre filmmaker J.C. Doler, telling an eerie tale of grief & demons. Following the death of his only son, a grieving father is haunted by a terrifying demon known in Irish folklore as the Fetch. A fetch is a supernatural double or an apparition of a living person. The sighting of a fetch is regarded as an omen, usually for impending death… The indie film stars Robert Longstreet, Aleksa Palladino, Logan Donovan, Shannon Cochran, & Tripp Toupal.
