The films center on Paul Atreides’ journey on Arrakis thousands of years after our time. The TV show Dune: Prophecy, on the other hand, is a prequel and Paul Atreides isn’t heard from. The reason for this is simple: Dune: Prophecy is set 10,000 years before the Dune films.
