“I didn’t like being a persona.” Netflix has unveiled an official trailer for Avicii – I’m Tim, a music biopic documentary about the iconic techno musician known as Avicii. You’ve definitely heard his songs! They’re massive hits everywhere! Club bangers and mega summer anthems. “Before Avicii, there was Tim.” Through his own words, witness how a prodigious musical talent became one of the defining artists of his generation. Avicii – I’m Tim delves into the life and legacy of Tim Bergling, the Swedish DJ and music producer known as Avicii. The film presents a look into his life, featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews, with Tim as the narrator. In addition to the documentary, Netflix will also premiere Avicii – My Last Show (about ~30 minutes long) on December 31st, offering fans a chance to relive his final performance from Ibiza’s Ushuaïa in 2016. Tim passed away in 2018 at the young age of 28 by suicide after years spent touring the world. Yet another tragic tale of fame & fortune being overwhelming for a musician and taking its toll.
