Ever since he debuted in the Silver Age comic issue Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962) by Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, Peter Parker, aka, Spider-Man has remained one of the world’s most popular superheroes. It might have taken a while for him to get proper treatment in live-action, but fans have never lost interest in the character. In the comics, Spider-Man also broke ground as the first teenage superhero who wasn’t a sidekick and who didn’t have a mentor, though the MCU somehow shoved him back into that corner.
