Honor Among Thieves is based on the immensely popular tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons, created in 1974 by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. With the game having a surge in popularity in recent years, thanks to streamers like Critical Role and Dimension 20, Paramount Pictures attempted to capitalize on that success in 2023 with a movie adaptation. While the film fell short of initial box office predictions, here’s hoping its new streaming home can reignite the potential for a sequel.
