Executive producers and writers Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna may have another hit on their hands with the launch of their Stephanie Hsu-led dark comedy Laid, which premieres on Peacock December 19. But the creative duo’s bond stems back to the fabulous and cancelled-too-soon 2012 ABC comedy Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, which starred Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Dreama Walker (Doubt), and James Van Der Beek as, well, himself (sort of).
