‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Had One of the Worst Second Weekend Drops in MCU Box Office History

Despite a sturdy debut a couple of weeks ago, Captain America: Brave New Worldhad a rather concerning second weekend drop at the domestic box office. In fact, it was one of the worst in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s history. Captain America 4 barely avoided being outclassed by the notorious bomb Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which concluded its run with around $470 million worldwide against a budget that has been reported to be as high as $300 million. Captain America 4 fell by 68% in its second weekend, and is yet to hit the $150 million mark domestically.
