“We all start wondering if we’re doing the right thing.” Greenwich Ent. has revealed the official trailer for a documentary film titled Space: The Longest Goodbye, which originally premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival one year ago. The film explores an experiment and the possibility of sending people to Mars and how it will psychologically affect astronauts gone for so long. “Social isolation affects millions of people, even Mars-bound astronauts. A savvy NASA psychologist is tasked with protecting these daring explorers.” In the next decade, NASA will send astronauts to Mars for the first time. Separated from Earth, and unable to communicate with the ground, crew members will experience extreme isolation that could gravely affect their 3-year journey. This Sundance documentary follows a savvy NASA psychologist tasked with protecting daring space explorers. I watched this one last year and it’s very good: “Somber and emotional and candid. Meant to be more contemplative and considerate than explanatory.” Worth watching if you’re a space nerd. // Continue Reading ›
