Or bad things will happen!” A24 has revealed the hilarious first trailer for a bonkers new indie comedy called Death of a Unicorn, set for release sometime in Spring 2025 (final date not announced yet). This looks even crazier & weirder than anyone is expecting. Father & daughter duo Riley & Elliot hit a unicorn with their car and bring it to the wilderness retreat of a mega-wealthy pharma CEO. They decide to study and harvest it, of course, only to end up in an even worse situation. It seems this white unicorn was just a baby and the, uh, parents come back to collect it and they definitely are not happy. “As they delve deeper into their research, they discover the deadly consequences of their actions.” Indeed. Death of a Unicorn stars Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, and Richard E. Grant as the evil CEO. Helluva cast! It was expected to premiere at Sundance 2025 but seems like they rejected it? Perhaps it’ll premiere at SXSW instead? Certainly looks totally wild and hopefully it’s not too dumb!
