Master P has shared some encouraging words for his son, Hercy Miller, following recent reports of his arrest. As TSR previously reported, Hercy and two other men faced theft charges in November for allegedly swiping refrigerators from Southern Utah University.
It looks like Master P seemingly addressed the reports, hopping on Instagram with some wisdom for Hercy. He posted a clip of Hercy on a basketball court, giving him props for his success as a college student.
“I’m so proud of you, Son! @HercyMiller, you’re a 4.0 college student, a strong black man with a bright future, a man of character, and someone with a heart of gold. You’ve never been a troublemaker, and even when the devil tried to slander your name, you stayed humble.”
Master P also shared some advice Hercy gave him, writing, “You’ve always reminded me: ‘When you’re doing right and you know the truth, let God fight your battles.’ That’s exactly what you’ve done.”
Additionally, he told Hercy to keep grinding and stay focused on using his talents.
“Keep working hard, stay in the gym, and trust that even bigger blessings are on the way. Keep using your talents for kingdom building @suubasketball. We gone create change in this broken world together.”
According to TSR, Hercy Miller faced theft charges on Nov. 27 after he and his Thunderbird teammates, Brock Felder and Peter Dadson Jr., allegedly snatched $1,500 refrigerators from their school.
But just a few weeks later, TMZ revealed that Hercy could be close to clearing those charges. TMZ Sports later added that prosecutors filed documents to drop the felony charge against him, with a final decision expected soon.
Per KSLNewsRadio, surveillance clips from Nov. 11 showed the athletes loading the refrigerators into their cars. Soon after, police found the stolen fridges in the apartments of two suspects and then in the garage of the third. Hercy and Peter reportedly told officers they grabbed the fridges because they had been on a loading dock for a month. However, Brock Felder admitted he helped with the theft but claimed the others devised the plan. Police later arrested all three men and booked them into an Iron County Jail.
