Jason Statham is a well-known veteran of the action genre. Having made his film debut back in 1998 with Guy Ritchie’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels as the con man, Bacon, Statham has, since then, gone on to star in a plethora of roles which have made him a true action hero. Although much of Statham’s acclaimed work has seen the actor in primarily action-centered roles, such as the widely popular Transporter franchise and more recent films, including The Beekeeper and Wrath of Man, Statham has also dabbled in projects that combine action with science fiction.
