From Assembly Cut to Festival-Ready Master
ClydeVision Films operates a milestone-gated post-production pipeline — editorial assembly through DCP mastering — built for independent features, short-form slates, and branded content that demands technical compliance and narrative precision.

Narrative Pacing & Dialogue Rhythm
Our lead editor works directly from your raw dailies to build a structured assembly cut, then refines through rough cut and picture lock with a focus on narrative pacing and dialogue rhythm. Every revision cycle is milestone-gated — no open-ended scope drift, no revision fatigue. You receive a locked cut that serves the story, not the timeline.
Technical Specs
- Assembly cut delivered within 5 business days of media receipt
- Rough cut with director notes integration — up to two revision rounds
- Picture lock confirmation before color or audio work begins
- Supported formats: ARRI RAW, RED RAW, Blackmagic RAW, Sony RAW, ProRes 4444/422 HQ
- Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve editorial workflows
- Frame-accurate EDL and XML handoff to color and audio departments
Color Grading & Audio Finishing
DaVinci Pipeline & Broadcast-Compliant Audio
Color grading is executed entirely within the DaVinci Resolve pipeline — primary and secondary correction, LUT application, and HDR deliverable preparation where required. Audio finishing covers dialogue cleanup, ADR integration, music and effects balancing, and loudness normalization to platform specification. Both departments operate from the picture-locked cut only.
Technical Specs
- DaVinci Resolve color grading — primary, secondary, and node-based corrections
- HDR and SDR simultaneous deliverable preparation (Rec.709, P3-D65, HDR10)
- Custom LUT development available for branded content and series consistency
- Dialogue cleanup and noise reduction via iZotope RX pipeline
- Music and effects (M&E) stem creation for international distribution
- Loudness normalization: -14 LUFS (streaming), -23 LUFS (broadcast), -24 LKFS (cinema)
Mastering & Compliance
DCP Mastering, QC Audit & Slate Delivery
Final mastering produces a platform-ready deliverable package — DCP for theatrical and festival submission, ProRes or H.264/H.265 for streaming platform ingest, and a full QC compliance report. Every slate delivery includes a technical QC audit against the target platform's specification sheet. No file leaves our pipeline without a passing QC report.
Technical Specs
- DCP mastering: 2K and 4K, flat and scope, with encrypted KDM delivery
- Streaming deliverables: ProRes 4444, H.264, H.265 per platform spec
- Closed caption and subtitle file creation (SRT, SCC, TTML)
- Full technical QC audit report included with every slate delivery
- Platform-specific spec compliance: Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV+, Tubi, festival DCPs
- Archival master creation: uncompressed or lossless mezzanine file
Milestone-Gated Workflow
Four Gates. No Scope Drift.
Every project advances through four locked milestones. Work on the next phase does not begin until the current gate is approved — protecting your budget, your timeline, and your editorial vision.
Assembly Cut Approval
Raw dailies are cut to a structured assembly. Director reviews and approves before rough cut work begins.
Picture Lock
Rough cut revisions are consolidated and the edit is locked. No further editorial changes after this gate.
Color & Audio Sign-Off
Color grade and audio finishing are reviewed against the locked picture. Client approves before mastering begins.
QC-Passed Slate Delivery
Final deliverable package passes technical QC audit. Files are released only after a clean QC report is issued.
